The movie has premiered at Venice and Tellutide film fest and the descriptions of Stone's sex scenes are out. There are so many and they are VERY explicit!

People are hailing everyone's performances but Emma seems like a major candidate for winning her second Oscar.

Poor Things nudity review from Telluride:

I'm going to preface this by saying this is the most sustained nudity from an A-list Oscar winning actress I've seen in my lifetime.

There's so much nudity from Emma Stone that I can't really list all the individual scenes, but I'll do the best I can in chronological order.

Stone's character (Bella) is unconscious when being carried to a bed, her right breast visible. She is then stripped nude by a maid, revealing both breasts. She then wakes up the morning after and removes the blanket that was covering her, revealing both breasts again. Bella then begins to figure out how to masturbate. Further exploring this, she goes into the kitchen and masturbates with an apple (with very stylized close-ups of her facial expressions and mouth when she reaches orgasm) and then with a cucumber. She is clothed at this time however.

Stone is fully nude on a table during a flashback to Bella's Frankenstein-esque resurrection - however, only breasts are visible.

Montage of sex scenes between Stone and Mark Ruffalo in multiple positions (cowgirl, doggie, missionary). Topless and rear nudity. During one segment where Stone is riding Ruffalo on an Ottoman, Ruffalo is licking her left nipple.

Later on, Stone strips off her pants to entice Ruffalo to have sex. Frontal nudity (might be a merkin).

Much later on, Bella begins to work at a Paris brothel. Multiple sex scenes with customers. First scene is missionary with only bush nudity. Second is her getting fucked from behind by a fat dude - rear nudity. Another scene involves her riding a priest - topless nudity. Another involves her having her hands chained up while her customer humps...her leg - full frontal nudity. Another one (probably the most objectionable scene) involves a dad who decides to bring along his two sons so he can teach them all about sex, and describes everything he and Bella are doing in detail while they take notes - topless nudity. In between the sex scenes are scenes where she and the other prostitutes are being paraded for customers - Stone shows breasts in most of these.

Finally, Bella experiments with lesbianism. She gets fondled/licked by her madam while topless on a bed, and then gets eaten out by her prostitute friend - don't remember if that latter scene had nudity.

Overall, it's like Emma Stone saw her friend Jennifer Lawrence's full frontal beach scene in No Hard Feelings and said "Challenge, accepted." Poor Things is a contender for best nudity of the decade, if not the century - especially for a film with Oscar-nominated (if not winning) talent in front and behind the camera and is being prepped for an Oscar campaign by Searchlight.

edit 2 (sorry): at the end of the month, Yorgos will premiere his short orchestra movie Bleat at the New York Film Fest. It's black and white and in it Emma goes full frontal nude too. But chances of it ever being released on digital are very small. So either you buy a ticket, or pray that there is someone brave (and crazy) to attempt to record it in a full theater at a film festival. Very unlikely to happen obviously.

From a person who saw it last night:

Emma stone nudity in bleat Just finished watching Bleat, Emma showed up. Full up close pussy shot you see every detail, no face shown during the shot in the QnA they talked about how it was an extremely small crew so probably not a double. Half the movie had a pre recorded orchestra they weren’t playing most of the time so maybe that’s a sign it will get a release. Very small bush (not a landing strip, just a regular bush trimmed down) you see everything lips clit. Could be a double though no face and you literally she every tiny detail. She also climbed on the bed completely naked full ass view. [There's a masturbation scene where] she climbed on top of her dead husband and sits on his face till she comes it’s fully clothed then her husband wakes up thinks she’s dead strips her wears her robe buried her nude that’s where you see her pussy. I’m sure others will chronicle the nudity in full so I’ll just say that if she hadn’t done Poor Things this would be the nude event of the year… but as it happens she’s clearly surpassed and outdone herself on the newer one. She is completely but very briefly naked in Bleat, though. Never an amazing view, all done in grainy black and white, usually with side-views, and occasionally with artsy angles and fisheye lenses, etc. There is one up-close genital shot that - assuming it’s her and not a double, which I believe it is - is jaw dropping (people around me gasped). They shot it with a skeleton crew and no budget on an island in Greece, so the likelihood of a body double who matches Emma’s frame, skin color, etc. seems remote. And like I said it’s very brief - but assuming it’s her - and again, at this point it seems like she’s completely game and all in - it has to be one of the more explicit crotch shots of any mainstream star in memory. Small, sparse bush with light pubic hair (the movie is in black and white, so I can’t tell if it’s blonde or red), nice lips slightly spread, and the clit is staring right at you in 35mm - which is what made many people around me (including me) literally exhale their breath in surprise.

My opinion: The pussy shot could be her or someone else. It's not unusual for films to hire porn star for just one shot like that. Maybe one day Emma or Yorgos will address it directly.

edit: watching their interview in which they joke about her "contemporary haircut", I'm inclined to think they're talking about her pubes. So it really looks like it is her.

Oh how lucky are those who have seen it. Imagine being blessed of seeing Emma Stone's clit on a gigantic screen.

At this point it's safe to say that Emma Stone is the new, undisputed champion of nudity in Hollywood. Holly crap!
