I edited a video that was posted here a while ago in order to make it more visible. Sorry it still looks pretty bad, but that's because the original video was pretty dark. Since the original had been compressed, the compression software is able to make the file smaller by deleting information in dark areas that we normally wouldn't be able to see anyways. Unfortunately, that means that when we try to lighten the video, that missing information is much more noticeable and we get a lot of artifacting. I was able to bring a bit of detail back by sharpening it a whole lot, which is why it looks like a mess (still better than leaving it blurry w/o sharpening). I also color corrected it a whole bunch, so it looks more natural now, even though it isn't anywhere close to perfect. Again, apologies for the quality, but the source was tricky to work with, and this is the first time I've tried anything like this.
