"hey guys, i want to apologize for my absence. if i'm being honest, i would rather not get into the reason why i needed to take some time, but, in short, it was beneficial for my mental.
all-day i was trying to think of a way i could explain where i've been without feeling as if i was garnering sympathy, which to me, is a very gross and uncomfortable emotion to be on the receiving end of. i finally decided that being truthful was really the only way to go. it was either that or flat-out lying.
this past week, i was able to begin working through some stuff and i am truly feeling much more optimistic. so thank you for sticking around for me
and because you guys are so fucking dope, i have no doubt that i will be flooded with tons of support, and i want to preemptively thank you for that.
the last thing i want to say is this; just because the tone of this is very serious, i still welcome and encourage the silly. any serious responses are, of course, appreciated, but humor has always, and will always be what makes me feel the most... human.
